It's the Rainy season...

Hi All,
Thanks for your words of encouragement, prayers, positive energy, and warm fuzzies.
Its the end of Week 4 and I`m catching up on email.
Last weekend was spent studying for an Anatomy test and memorizing Dialogue; no time for anything else other than the essentials (hydrating, resting, & eating).

Week 4 started out with Bikram stopping yoga class early--at Camel Pose. He was furious because people in the yoga room were sitting out postures. Later that evening when we all gathered for PM-Lecture he concluded that this wasn´t solely our fault. Thank you. The lack of air circulation in the room was the problem. It is the Rainy season (also hurricane season) here in Acapulco...lots of humidity in the air. Now, there are more than 10 fans in the yoga room and the doors to go in-out of the room are kept open during class.

This week, he kept us up late 3 nights in a row. Bikram gave us Friday night off, but we had to work our tails off in PM-yoga class to earn it. This meant that not one person could sit out or step out of the room during class.

In Posture Clinics this week we covered 4-5 postures. For Week 5 we will start with Triangle Pose.

Have a great week. If you get Columbus Day off, enjoy it.
Take care,
iram
